WHO WE ARE
SouthTown Riders is a group of riders who live their lives passionately for their sports and for our God.
SouthTown Riders is a group of riders who live their lives passionately for their sports and for our God. We ride for Christ, as worship, as reflection, for fun, for the joy of riding, for the friendships, for the thrill, for the lifestyle. We do not judge others for looks and action, but see everyone has a need to feel loved and to love.
We find that ability in Christ. We are not perfect… so do not look at us as the example of a perfect Christian, but look at us and see the Christ’s perfection being worked in our lives.
We are always looking for community projects or events going on in the area. If you have any needs or know of any needs that need to be filled please give send us an email and let us know.
OUR HISTORY
SouthTown Riders began in 2001 as a dream of some young guys that were passionate about two things: wakeboarding and impacting youth. Danny Tolentino and a few friends started a wakeboarding camp and youth ministry in the summer of 2001 using his personal boat and gear pooled together to outfit the boats. They reached out to youth groups and local non-profit organizations to bring kids and teenagers through a day camp focused on teaching wakeboarding and sharing the story of how Christ had changed their lives.
